Chapel: Meditation and Prayer
When the early Church began to live out God’s mission, “they raised their voices together in prayer to God” (Acts 4:24). Time with God is at the heart of our faith. And there is strength, joy and love to experience when we come together to share and listen to God during our busy weeks. Join us for two opportunities each month for Chapel: Meditation and Prayer.

Minister's Message

Welcome!

The season of Spring has officially arrived. There are indicators all around as the days are noticeable longer, snow melts away and canada geese find their way back home.

But in the life of the Church, and for Christians worldwide - the season of Spring takes on special significance as a link to the message of hope and resurrection all around us.

At its core, the Easter message upholds the phrase, "all things are possible in God".  Whether in creation as a bulb gives way to a beautiful tulip or families find strength in a community of faith, all things are possible in God.  That a group of uncertain, sometimes floundering disciples could experience the death of their teacher, only to later realize that his message lives on in them. All things are possible in God!  Or that some who thought they had all the answers about God would have their imaginations and understanding awakened to see that God has planted a way of love in all people. And the individual who began to see life as a gift changed their perspective to gratitude instead of apathy. All things are possible in God!

At First United we've been asking the question - what is God growing within us? What is God making possible? And during this Easter Season where we first go through the difficult place of Good Friday, we want to give special attention to the answers.  Is God growing a season of hope in our lives? Is God making possible within us a deeper commitment to our faith journey? Are we taking note of the fruit among us as God shines a springtime light in this place?

Join us during the Season of Easter  - for more conversation and learning about the God is makes all things possible!

Who We Are
Welcome!

On behalf of the community at First United, welcome! We are sincerely glad you're exploring our church community and ministries.
